Buhari Sacks Igbo Man As Chairman Of NPC, Replaces Him With A Northern Muslim

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday appointed Hassan Bashir as the acting executive chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC).

Bashir’s appointment follows the sacking of the executive chairman of the commission, Eze Duruiheoma, on January 23, 2019.
