Liverpool can win five trophies this season

Liverpool have won their first trophy of the season. At the start of the campaign, Jurgen Klopp’s side had six chances to win silverware.

Their first opportunity to lift a trophy came in the Community Shield against Manchester City. However, a penalty shootout defeat to Manchester City meant Liverpool wouldn’t win an unprecedented seven trophies during the 2019/20 season.

However, they may still win five. That’s because after a 2-2 draw after extra-time against Chelsea last night, Liverpool triumphed on penalties to lift the Super Cup. One down, five to go.
